Common Mercedes-Benz Issues We Fix

Mercedes-Benz vehicles are superbly engineered, but certain models develop predictable issues as they age. Here’s what we see most often.

  • 1

    Air Suspension (AIRMATIC) Failure

Sagging ride height or a rough ride often points to a failing air strut or compressor — common on E, S, and GL models.

  • 2

    Oil & Transmission Leaks

Valve cover gaskets and transmission pan seals are frequent leak points that, left unchecked, lead to bigger repairs.

  • 3

    Engine Mount Wear

Hydraulic engine mounts collapse over time, causing vibration at idle — a well-known issue across many models.

  • 4

    Check-Engine & Sensor Faults

Camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, plus the balance shaft on certain V6 engines, are common fault sources.

FAQ

Common Questions

Common questions we hear from Mercedes owners.

Will independent service void my Mercedes warranty?

No. The federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to use an independent shop without voiding your factory warranty, as long as the work is done to manufacturer specifications using approved parts and fluids. We follow Mercedes-Benz specifications and document every service, so your warranty coverage stays intact.

Do you use OEM Mercedes parts?

Yes. We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and OE-quality parts to maintain the build quality your Mercedes was designed for. For some repairs we'll offer upgraded alternatives — such as performance brakes or longer-life components — but the default is always OEM unless you ask otherwise.

How do I schedule an appointment?

The fastest way is our online booking system — click "Book an Appointment" at the top or bottom of this page, and choose a time that works for you. Prefer to talk to someone? Call us at (951) 517-2697 during shop hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
